Pata Salada is a new restaurant in the Cerritos area of Mazatlan. It's located at the very north end of Avenida Sabalo Cerritos and it faces North on the ocean. It already has a reputation for excellent sea food. I am 2 weeks behind and trying my hand at keyboard typing. Physio is brutal but I'm making slow progress.
It was windy and cool that Wednesday and the restaurant is open air...many of us were jacketless and cold. Connie and Anita went over to one of the vendor stalls and bought beach towels🤣

Connie and Anita look glum but really they weren't. This was the afternoon that Anita and family spread John's ashes.
The food is out quickly...well most of the food. Look at the variety. 
This is a special shrimp dish that quite a few ladies had but the name escapes me! Very, very good.

So two issues on this day. They forgot Jeannette's hamburger and then they rushed it and it was raw. Not a happy diner. They also messed up MarMabel's order with the wrong potatoes and coolish fish. However the group was large, the service excellent, the food came out fast and for the most part was delicious. Well worth a meal anytime but...bring a jacket unless it's late in the day and the sun is coming in.
