On the road again!

 Surprise I'm back!  After a crummy winter of health issues for me and a summer of health issues for Eric we're on the road again...final destination Mazatlan with numerous stops along the way.  Today we were on the road at 8am on our way to Quesnel.  Tomorrow Kelowna where we'll stay at at Ian (Eric's brother and wife Linda's) for a few days and I'll visit my sister Anne.   Then...next stop Coos Bay Oregon to see Connie and Manny.  

Weeks of getting ready to go and we're on our way.  I'm actually surprised we are!

Now that's a view!   Shortly after this it got foggy and stayed foggy for hours.  But...no rain!

Houston, BC and the big fishing rod.  This is a mill town and it's quiet as the mills have pulled out.  No work...now what?

Vanderhoof BC and the mills are still working.  So many northern towns that are mill dependent are failing.

Quesnel.

Quesnel is a pulp mill town.

We're booked into the Park Inn at the sound of town.  Formerly the Super 8 and it's been redone and...a reasonable price with breakfast.  We're having happy hour a shower and lasagna that I brought with us.  After 8 hours on the road who wants to go out and look for dinner!  Anywhere we don't have dinner in the motel I have a frozen meal packed.  Lunches are packed too and that way we can make decent time.

So it was a good day with no issues.
