Quesnel BC to Kelowna BC

7:40 and we'll stop for fuel and be on our way.  -3C.  Decent night sleep in the newly redone Super 8 ithat s now a Park Inn.  Nice enough with a couple of bathroom deficiencies.  No towel rack or grab bar in the tub...oh well.  Super save fuel 265.9 a liter for diesel.  We have seen 299.9!

Leaving Quesnel...-3c and cloudy.

Sun's coming out!

Up ahead Williams Lake and we're seeing snow on the ground.

An artsy picture of the Fraser River😁

Getting closer to 100 mile house and snow everywhere.

100 mile.

Between 100 mile and Clinti we're up high and...more snow.

This is historic Clinton and this area had horrific fires this summer.  At one point the whole town was evacuated.

So pretty.

Snow and burned trees everywhere.

Just south of the burn and the grass is green.

Coming into Cache Creek and light rain.  Here they want 2.99 for diesel...why?...gouging.

Up and over towards Kamloops coming into Savanah ant the end of Kamloops lake.
Through Kamloops and on through Mont Lake and Falkland and more snow.

The cattle wonder what's going on.

And the there's no snow and fresh haylage in wrappers.

On towards Vernon...

...and rain.

Vernon.

Coming through Lake county to Kelowna.

Gordon Drive and the trees are beautiful.
We were at Ian and Linda's by 3:40 so pretty good time.  Unpacked a bit and the happy hour and some catching up. Inda had made us Thanksgiving dinner with a turkey roast...how nice was that!  Delicious with homemade plum cake and ice cream and I forgot to take pictures.  We were in bed before 10pm exhausted and full.  Today a quiet rest for Eric and some shopping for Linda and I.
Happy to be here and traveling south😊
