A few days in Kelowna.

Yesterday (Monday) Linda and I were off to Costco for my biannual shop.  Mostly vitamins that are way cheaper and a couple of clothing articles.  My favorite shop..His and Hers closed so I'm sad as it was where I got lots of my clothes.

Last night we had chili that I brought from home and watched the world series.  The Blue Jays are long out so I'm cheering for the Milwaukee Brewers...looking good.  Third win and 10 to 1 final!

Today (Wednesday)was lunch with sister Anne and cousin Barb and Barb's husband Brian.  Barb is Anne and my cousin on my mother's side.  We have lots of childhood memories to share.  Lunch at Mon Thong Thai restaurant and Anne insisted on paying.  She said her daughter Adrian was paying.  Adrian passed away in the spring at the young age of 44. Sadly she overdosed.  Kind, funny, smart, witty a good daughter and a superb cardiac nurse.  Addiction has no boundaries..😪

Barb and Brian.

Me, Anne, Brian and Barb.

Another lunch a few years ago and happier times.  That's me, Barb. Adrian and Anne.

Today was the day to clean up pack and get ready to travel tomorrow.  A good visit with my sister Anne and Ian and Linda.  Ian made a great shrimp curry that fed us two nights in a row.
Happy hour with Ian's son Jason as well.

Up early tomorrow and on our way to Biggs Junction on the Columbia River.  Friday Coos Bay, Oregon.
Last night the Tampa Bay Rays won and tonight it was the Milwaukee Brewers winning game 4 and the world series!
