It was nice to see all the relatives in Kelowna. I see my sister Anne twice a year as we pass through and this time my cousin Barb and husband Brian. Linda and Ian are kind enough to let us stay as we come and go. We'll see them in Mazatlan when they come down in January. As usual lots of photos. Sadly I did this earlier and it didn't get saved,
7:20 and we're on the road...over 400 miles to go.
Harvey heading for the bridge over Okanagan Lake and the highway south.
Lovely fall colour.
Small town Oliver and so many small old towns as we travel.

Blurry grape vines I think😁

What is that..are they scanning for aliens😁

We'll head towards Wenatchee.

7.25 for diesel and last year it was $4.69 and then we convert to Canadian and it's 10 bucks!

Espaliered fruit trees.

Just south of Wenatchee we stop at Hydro park for lunch.

Looking south on the Columbia. A lovely well maintained park.
Over the Columbia at Vantage and we go up and down as we travel.

What a sky!
Smokey hear and...
,,,now sunny and clear. To be honest I prefer cloud for travel as the sun is always in my eyes.

Beautiful old house in Toppenish.

I think the bright trees might be oak.

Goldendale and we usually stay here but we decided to head down to Biggs junction this time.

Tricky here. If you're not careful you're going the wrong way.

The mighty Columbia.

We got in around 4:30 and are tucked in to the end Biggs Nu View motel. Old but clean and reasonable price. Pretty busy area but it quiets down at night.

View off the walkway.
Long day but we've had beer, a frozen meal I brought, a shower and soon bed.
Tomorrow a bit shorter day and off to Connie and Manny's in Coos Bay,
All in all a good day!
