El Parmar for the final lunch of the season.

We have a few sushi lovers in our lunch group and so we chose to revisit El Parmar for lunch on Wednesday. It's located right next to the Las Jaibas RV park and it has become hugely popular since it opened.  We were there once last year and again in December of this season.  The best sushi we've had on our lunch travels.

They open at noon and we were ready.  First a drink order and then to peruse the menu.  Above you see Georgia and Ruth.

Connie and Mar aren't part of the sushi bunch so they ordered Teriyaki.

.
Ruth, Georgia and I all ordered Mojito's.  Delicious.

A little chat before lunch.  Ruth, Georgia and I all ordered a different sushi roll so we would have a variety.

One wrapped in tuna and one wrapped in salmon.

My campacheno roll is shrimp and avocado etc. and it's served hot and spicy.  I've ordered it a couple of times before and it's a favorite.

Mar ordered shrimp and chicken teriyaki without the rice.

Connie had chicken teriyaki with the rice.  Both plates were very good.

My plate with all three rolls, grated ginger, wasabi and ginger.  Yum!

Lots of food for the three of us and there was enough left that Ruth took a couple of pieces and I took the rest so Eric was a happy guy at dinner.

We arrived at 12 and were done with lunch by 1pm.  However we did stay for almost another hour to discuss important stuff!  We've had a really good season and both Georgia and Eric and I leave for home on the 19th.  Connie and Ruth leave a week later.  Our group has up to 15 ladies if we all go to lunch but today we were 5.
You can sit inside the restaurant where it's air conditioned or out in the palapa area beside it.  They have expanded again this year as in the late afternoon and evening it gets really busy.  The seafood is so fresh in Mazatlan and that makes for delicious sushi.

See you next season.
