Sharen likes to have a Happy St. Patrick’s day party every year and she’s not even Irish! Today it was a small get together because Sharen brings corned beef and she wanted to have enough for everyone.
11 of us gathered for happy hour at 4pm. Connie/Manny, Bill/Jeannette, Reg/Pat, George/Sharen, Robyn and Eric and I. Sometimes a small group is nice because it’s easier to visit.
It’s a nice sunny afternoon but it’s cool in the shade. We’ve had a lot of wind lately and everyone is sick of it!

We don’t see much of Manny now that he and Connie are renting in El Cid. Eric and Manny enjoy each other and always like to have a blab.
Time to eat. Corned beef, cabbage, veggies and my scalloped potatoes. The potatoes were a hit and I said it was because they had 850,000 calories in them!! White sauce with cheese and butter so they had to taste good.
Sharen made stuffed eggs on a slice of beet and it was really good.
There was lots of food as everyone brought something. Fresh guacamole, main dishes and of course dessert.

We started at 4pm and everyone was gone by 7pm. I did hang around a little longer than I usually do because I was helping Sharen drink her home made margaritas which is something I don’t usually do! Fun was had by all!
