Eric went for a ride this morning and was back by lunch. It was good for him to get out on the road. Tomorrow we’ll both go out together. Zion or the North Rim of the Grand Canyon….we’ll see.
After lunch I took a walk into town. I thought I’d see if I could find the the Little Hollywood museum. Lots of western movies have been filmed in this area from 1924 until the 1970’s. http://www.littlehollywoodmuseum.org/little-hollywood-history.html
I browsed the shops and it was interesting to see the diverisity of the tourists in this area. There were people from England, Australia and of course lots of people from all over the USA. A popular and repeat tourist destination.
Little Hollywood Museum ahead.
Dining room.
This was a set used in the western movies. Lots of costumes and other paraphenalia used in the movies. Pretend guns, old hats etc. etc.
Shot through a window so some reflections. I used to watch the Lone Ranger, Gunsmoke and Annie Oakley was my favorite. Don’t know if any of them were filmed here though.
Looks pretty realistic in the photo.
Very old leather hanging on the wall.
Heading back up the street and there is the usual beautiful scenery in the back ground.
A nice warm evening and a much better day than yesterday.
