Rincon de Nasha for Ladies Lunch

Yesterday we were a small group for lunch.  Some were off at a fundraiser and two were sick.  There has been a nasty bronchitis/bronchial pneumonia virus going around and people have been very sick with it.  Today we were missing Sandi who is recovering and Connie who just got it.

Two ladies waiting for a bus!  Marilyn, Liz and I went together to Rincon de Nasha.

The Corner of Nasha!  We have eatien here over the years and have always enjoyed our meals...yesterday was no exception.  Located at the beginning of the Golden Zone so we didn't have far to go.

Excuse this shot as somehow my camera made everyone very wide and....they are not! Susie, Marilyn, Liz and Marion.  Rincon de Nasha is one of the more reasonable price wise restaurants.  We decided to share the specials except for Marion who was the odd one out.

Lots of Mexican pottery and glassware for sale here.

Susie and I shared a two meals for 340 pesos and we ordered beef tenderloin. It was very good and I managed most of the meat, all of the vegetables and part of the potato.  Susie took most of her meal home for her husband Stu as she eats like a bird!

Liz and Marilyn had the shrimp special...garlic for Liz and breaded for Marilyn.  Again two very large meals for 340 pesos ( about $27 Canadian total)

Marion had breaded shrimp as well and was charged full price until the owner stopped by and Marion said she thought she should have a discount as she had no one with her to share with.  She did get a disount when Nasha stopped by to chat.

I always kid Marion about her suspicious looks when she sees her food.  Today she tried hard to smile.
We were a small group of five yesterday and after we'd all enjoyed lunch we sat around chatting.  A thoroughly enjoyable lunch and afternoon.  Very good food at a very good price and lots of little nooks or corners in this restaurant to sit and read or play a game of cards.  Very relaxing.
