Krista and Jeff have two dogs now as they just had to put their old dog Harley to sleep earlier in the week.  Sad but she was old and had a good life.  The house is filled with the rambunctious nature of a 1 1/2yr. old German Shepherd called Lola whom they’ve had since she was a puppy and the new dog Yip, a little Cairn cross who is a rescue that they’ve had for two months.    Someone had left a half a dozen dogs alone in a house and moved so they were all in a state of starvation after two weeks.  Disgusting!    I must say that Yip is very well adjusted and tolerant of kids (loves them dearly) and is just happy to have a warm and loving home.

Ava got a tattoo kit so she was ready to practice on all of us. 

First Daddy…and first you put on the glue….and then you get the sparkles ready.  A couple days later Daddy asked if it would ever come off!

Even Gramma got one….a peace sign.  P.S. one week later and it’s still there!

Shane is a very bright young man with great attention to detail in everything he does. 

He can read to his little sister.

His big interest right now is Lego's and he has a lot of them. 

He has a box that he totes around so he can build as he goes but….

there are a lot more downstairs….

Lots and lots so he can build pretty near anything ….and then he pulls it apart and starts over.  Underneath the Lego's is a train table where he used to run his train set.  He also knows a lot about trains and especially steam engines.  A boy after his grandfather’s heart.

bath and then….

bed…with dogs, kids and later Mom too!  Poor Krista and Jeff had to give up their bed while we were there.  Jeff on the couch and Krista with the rest of the family.
