Up extra early this morning as we had 428 miles to go. To start with it looked like a huge wind warning but it turned out to be tomorrow so all was well. Onward!

Minden NV and we fuel up because California is much more expensive. Not as bad as last year but converted to Canadian ...expensive.
Minden is a really pretty little town.
All neat and painted.
There's always a church!
Soon we'll be going up.

California prices for diesel
Stopped for lunch at the Mammoth Lakes rest stop and it's warm.

Big Pine and we picked up fuel again as the wind wrecked our mileage!
Not bad here. Last year some places in California were $8.
We rolled into Ridgecrest and the Days Inn around 3:30 so pretty good time. Rooms okay except for over scented cleaning products. Warm at 27c.
Tomorrow Yuma.
Were both tired after 2 long days and another one tomorrow.
