A few days in Kelowna

We arrived in Kelowna last Wednesday and stayed until today Monday the 29th.  We were going to leave yesterday but the weather heading north was iffy! The new motorcycle needed some work and in the end the dealer couldn't get the replacement shock for a few weeks so we'll get it done in October when we head south.  A common failure but the bike can still be ridden.  It's good to rest and decompress after our week heading north to Canada.

Here we're sitting down to another lovely meal cooked by Linda...the hostess with the mostest!!
On Friday I met up with sister Anne and we did some shopping.  We had a really good and cheap Asian meal in the Orchard Park Mall. I'd been shopping with Linda the day before at His and Her's my all time favorite clothing store.  The owner wants to sell and if no one buys it, it will close...boohoo😥

Linda's brother Craig came for dinner this night.  An outdoorsy interesting guy.  The next day he was going to meet a litter of Nova Scotia duck Tolling puppies.  His older dog passed away unexpectedly and he's happy to be getting another one of the same breed.  I saw a picture of the puppies at 1 week and they looked like cute moles😂

Linda and Ian's lovely back yard.

A picture of Ian's son Jason, wife Deb,  daughter Ella and the guy with shades is Cooper.  He just had some corrective eye surgery...hence the shades.  They were supposed to come for dinner the night before but they had company for the weekend.  It was really nice to have a visit with them.
So that was our few days in Kelowna and today we were on the road for day one of our trip home.
