Our first ride of the season. Concordia with friends.

 It's December now and I hadn't been out on the new bike.  Truth be told I was only out on it once at home.  Eric has been out and about at home and here in Mazatlan.  The Triumph Tiger 900 is completely different than the Harley Ultra Classic.  Half the weight, much more agile and of course less comfortable.  "Tigger" is a good fit for Mexico with its cobblestones and narrow streets.  Today Concordia was our destination and we haven't been there in a few years.  Covid meant no road trips for two winters.

We were joined by Frank and Sandi along with Ian and Linda.  Not a long trip so we didn't head out until 10:30.

As I'm using the cell phone for pictures I'm having to get used to taking photos on the new bike.  I'm not sitting in an armchair like on the Harley😉

We seated ourselves out back in the courtyard and as Sandi ordered tortilla soup she got lunch before we even got beer!

She said it was very good.

Frank had beef fajitas and he said the beef was very tender.

Eric had fish "a la plancha" which wasn't very big but very tasty.  Not to worry, I couldn't finish all my lunch and I shared😊

Enchiladas in ppoblano cream sauce for me. Chicken inside and the whole lunch was delicious and...a lot cheaper than Mazatlan.

Lunch was done and we decided to walk over to the square.

Concordia was founded as Villa de San Sebastian in 1565 by Francisco Ibarra.  Originally  a center of gold, silver and copper mining.  The main church , San Sebastian was built in 1785 with a baroque ornate facade.

The square is a lovely place to sit relax and visit.

This lady was ranting get and waving her arms at everyone.  One of the vendors came over to us and made the "loco" sign about her!

On our way home and the hills are covered in pink blooming trees.  It's very green everywhere after a very wet summer.

We had a really nice trip, good chat and and good lunch.  A good day😊
