Today we gathered at 1:30 by the Bocce court for the finals. One game at a time, not two as we had time and no where else to go.
Game one. Sam and Rita….whoops, once again Jeannette is filling in and has now become Rita who is under the weather. She and Sam play Eddie and Bill. 
Ramona intently watches Sam throw!
Friendly rivalry and intense competition between Jeanette and Bill who are husband and wife and on opposing teams. All is fair in love and Bocce! 
If the pea kisses the ball you get an extra point. 
Jeannette and Sam beat Eddie and Bill….a hard fought game. 
Gunter and Regina play Val and Dick. Gunter and Regina win.
Sam and Jeannette move on to play Lori and Al. 
Sam and Jeannette win again!
The final. Regina and Gunter play Jeannette and Sam. 
A very hard fought, well played, close scoring game. 
Four red….
Jeannette and Sam are the champs.
Now I have to go and rest up as it’s bingo tonight!
I have no idea about what to say about bocce Kathy - but I hope you had fun! Not sure about what to say about bingo either….. lol.
ReplyDeleteTeresa you don't have to say anything! Bocce is fun....bingo not so much and I do enjoy cards. I do try and participate in some activities. Eric always opts out unless it involves food and he needs to eat!
