Last Ride Before We Head North

Yesterday Eric and I took a last ride in the warm weather.  It was cloudy and windy but still nice.  Across the river to Bullhead City and then south to Boundary Cone Road where we turned left.  Instead of continuing on to Oatman we again road an old part of Route 66 south to Topock then onto the I40 to Needles for lunch.  A bit of trouble finding a place to eat but a nice lady suggested the River Cafe and it was good.  All you can eat Fish and Chips Friday….we just had a regular order and it was plenty.  Back onto the I40 and then we turned off onto 95 and road north to the cutoff back to Laughlin.  154 miles.  Home and tired and a sandwich for supper.

We didn’t stop at all those marker but I have to put them in so that Map Point will do what I tell it to do!

Today it is hot again and I had to get the laundry done and also do a last minute shop for at the Outlet Mall down the street.  Eric loaded the bike and we are ready to head out tomorrow morning early.  The bikes are starting to roll into the park for bike week.  Giant Phaeton Motor home with tag axle hauling an enclosed car trailer with matching tangerine colored Harley’s.  Wonder when the poor people show up!  Time to get out of town!

We intend to stop in Ely, Nevada tomorrow night and then Meridian, Idaho on Monday night.

I’ll keep you posted.
